keep on fallin'

  • left/right: move
  • down: shoot; regular projectile gun has recoil and acts as a jump mechanism. Has a cooldown time.
  • up / z: use slowdown powerup

WARNING keys do not work in Safari; sound effects might be delayed in Firefox. For best results use Vivaldi, Chromium, or download an executable version below (after getting past the scary "are you sure you want to run this unsigned binary" on mac & windows)

tile guide:

destroyable tiles: shoot to destroy, landing on them will kill you

spring tiles: landing on them will cause you to bounce. Can only be destroyed by the laser

spike tiles: landing on them will kill you. Can only be destroyed by laser

slow: passing over this tile will slow your fall. Not destructible.

powerup guide:

laser: your next shot is a laser beam lasting 2 seconds. You will emit red particles while carrying one. You can carry multiple lasers simultaneously, but each has their own two second use.

shield: will protect you once against death, giving you a bit of a bounce when it breaks. You can have up to four equipped at a time.

slowdown: similar to the slow zone tiles, will slow your fall by holding up or gamepad A or key z. Each powerup gives you four seconds of slow, consumed by holding the button. When you have slowdown left, you will emit blue particles. Slowdown power accumulates with multiple tiles.

cute little game. My high-score is 7213.

the shooting cooldown is low enough that you can infinitely stall or even rise up, and the camera is struggling at negative depth. Maybe weaken firing, add a falling ceiling or just an easter egg?

thanks! we're still tweaking things and plan to offer a difficulty setting

we added difficulty settings each with their own scoring
